Tower Readings
Information for tower readings with the GQ 390
Some things to set up first. Ensure:
* ‘All in one’ mode is selected so all RF mw/m2, EMF mG and EF v/m shows on your screen.
* Date and time is correct.
Instructions:
- Identify the tower on the RFNSA website https://www.rfnsa.com.au/home and take a screenshot

- Once at site turn mobile phone to flight mode.
Turn on GQ390.
- Hold the reader sideways (at the label) with your non dominant hand and point it to the tower. Holding it sideways allows for the peak data to be shown more prominently.

- Take photo with your phone, ensure you get the tower in the photo with the screen reading.
- Use the < > buttons to toggle the screen to the next mode to read ensuring you have a photo for each RF, EF and EMF.
- Repeat 5 and 6 for the next two mode screen readings.
- Submit your readings to the Australian World Radiation Tracker website
https://australians4acleanatmosphere.com/world-radiation-tracker-map/

- For the GPS Coordinates you can copy these from the RFNSA site you did in step 1. You will also need the site number.
- If you continue to take readings of the same towers – only upload the readings that are higher than those already uploaded.
